Swiss Meat & Sausage runs a perishable-goods web store with heavy holiday peaks. PeakBeyond™ has been part of its team since 2020 — keeping the store and shipping running, moving Counterpoint to a new server and replatforming from Magento to BigCommerce with gift cards, loyalty and promotions working in store and online.

PeakBeyond™ is a part of our Team that helps us make the decisions concerning all of our promotions. … They do all of the research on what is available out in the world today so we don't have to.

The work

  1. November 2025 – June 2026

    Magento to BigCommerce

    The challenge

Moving off Magento meant rebuilding the store with perishable-shipping rules, recipes, gift boxes and wholesale pages, and keeping products, customers, gift cards, loyalty balances and orders in sync with Counterpoint.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ migrated the data and built the store: theme, wholesale and private-label pages, recipes with images, perishable shipping groups and alerts, Stripe with Apple Pay and Google Pay, email templates and ShipStation imports. We scoped and tested the Counterpoint–BigCommerce integration — order imports, gift cards, loyalty conversion, kits and case units for wholesale customers — ran end-to-end tests, and handled the DNS cutover and order status settings.

    The result

The BigCommerce store was live in June 2026 with gift cards, customers and loyalty balances carried over.

  2. May – November 2025

Platform decision: Magento upgrade or BigCommerce

    The challenge

The Magento store needed an upgrade and ongoing security patching, and gift cards and loyalty points had to work with Counterpoint without extra apps.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ compared a Magento upgrade with a move to BigCommerce and recommended BigCommerce, whose Counterpoint integration supports gift cards and loyalty natively and which removes the patching burden.

  3. June – September 2026

    Payments reconciliation and team training

    The challenge

After launch, Stripe, BigCommerce and Counterpoint totals didn't line up because of capture timing, discounts applied before tax and expired authorizations.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ recommended capturing payment at shipment so Stripe matches Counterpoint, turned on card vaulting so expired authorizations can be charged again, fixed distribution and discount balancing with Retail Dimensions, and trained staff to manage products, images and ingredients in BigCommerce.

  4. March – August 2026

Promotions that work in store and online

    The challenge

Promotions had to behave the same in the store and on the website.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ set up tax-free days as automatic discounts, double-rewards events, and seasonal bundles as Counterpoint kit items synced to BigCommerce, with product images suitable for Google Shopping.

  5. June – July 2025

    Counterpoint server migration

    The challenge

Moving Counterpoint to a new server meant rebuilding the website product upload and order connection so web orders kept reaching nightly reports.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ recreated and tested the product upload on the new server and restored the order connection.

    The result

The product upload ran properly on the new server from June 2025.

  6. 2020 – present

    Store, shipping and marketing support

    The challenge

A small team needed reliable web orders, inventory and products through holiday rushes, plus shipping rules, gift cards, loyalty and marketing tools.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ handles peak-season issues, configured advanced shipping rules, shipping plans and loyalty points, set up email authentication, manages promotions and seasonal content, and advises on marketing tools.

    The result

A production upgrade was completed in July 2021.
