Better Baseball runs big sales events on Magento 2, sells on marketplaces and its own Shopify stores, and operates a retail superstore. PeakBeyond™ has been its commerce consultant since 2020 — automating eBay, connecting NetSuite through MindCloud, moving payments and tax to Stripe, and relaunching on Magento 2.4.8 with a Magento-native POS.
Thank you both for your help with eBay automation. It has been a great first few weeks getting to know and work with you both.

The work
July 2025 – May 2026
Magento 2.4.8 relaunch with a new checkout and in-store POS
The challenge
Better Baseball needed to upgrade the platform and checkout without disrupting holiday sales, and to bring its retail store onto a Magento-native POS with custom workflows for shipments, gift cards, split-tender refunds and stock reservations, all feeding NetSuite.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ set up a separate upgrade environment, scheduled the go-live after the holidays, and reviewed and approved the POS vendor's customization design. We then ran the cutover to a new production server with Magento 2.4.8, a Hyvä checkout, passwordless login, new transactional email and Magestore POS, and led the go-live triage with the vendors and host.
The result
The new platform and POS went live in May 2026; on go-live day a POS test transaction reached NetSuite with its deposit and fulfillment.
May 2024 – present
NetSuite ERP and MindCloud integration
The challenge
Better Baseball moved its back office to NetSuite. Orders, returns, payments, inventory and product data from Magento, Amazon, eBay and its Shopify stores had to sync with NetSuite — including exchanges, gift cards, store credit and tax-exempt customers.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ supported the NetSuite go-live check-ins and item exports, then led the evaluation and scope review of MindCloud as the integration platform and designed the order, return, payment and product flows: NetSuite saved searches, feeds, import sequencing, out-of-stock thresholds, custom options and order mapping.
The result
Magento orders were importing into NetSuite through MindCloud from October 2024.
September 2025 – 2026
Stripe payments and Stripe Tax
The challenge
Better Baseball wanted a payment processor with strong NetSuite integration and a replacement for Avalara, while keeping PayPal, Affirm, Amazon Pay and the POS working.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ compared processor proposals, then implemented Stripe payments and Stripe Tax with NetSuite reconciliation, PayPal options, fraud rules, and authorize-then-capture with a short order-edit window.
The result
Stripe and Stripe Tax replaced Avalara in October 2025.
June 2026 – present
Multi-location inventory and order import at scale
The challenge
A second retail location needed its own inventory and delivery estimates, and large sales put pressure on the order flow into NetSuite.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ is rolling out Magento multi-source inventory with location feeds from NetSuite. When order imports stalled during a major sale, we set the recovery plan — pausing imports, syncing inventory manually and running a full inventory import — then planned parallel imports by store, load testing, and an inventory sync that accounts for orders not yet imported.
The result
Orders kept flowing through the September 2026 sale weekend.
2024 – 2026
Product pages, merchandising and engraving customizer
The challenge
New product pages — warranty display, sticky add-to-cart and accordions — had to look exactly as approved on staging once in production, shoppers needed clearer glove and bat attributes, and engraving orders were error-prone.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ set up the attributes and content blocks in production, verified the deployment and traced the remaining differences to caching. We also mapped close-out and throwing-hand attributes from NetSuite, added exclusive labels and new-arrival rules, and defined a glove and bat engraving customizer with Magebit, with an engraving lookup tool and separate NetSuite line items.
The result
The redesign shipped in March 2025, with the client reporting it was very happy with the results.
2024 – 2026
Hyvä theme, search, SEO and security
The challenge
The old theme was slow, search and merchandising needed to improve ahead of peak sales, crawls showed orphan pages, redirect chains and duplicate headings, and the store faced malware and bot traffic.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ coordinated the Hyvä theme build and cutover with the development partner, implemented Fast Simon and then began the move to Athos Commerce with custom product and label feeds, introduced regular technical SEO crawls with flat category URLs and redirects, added monitoring and an external performance audit, and hardened the store with firewall rules, a Content Security Policy and malware scanning.
2020 – 2021
eBay automation and order flow into Counterpoint
The challenge
eBay listings were managed in a separate tool, and marketplace orders and shipping codes had to flow automatically through Magento into Counterpoint.
What we did
PeakBeyond™ and the development team set up M2E Pro with custom listing templates and configurable products, mapped eBay orders and shipping codes into Counterpoint, and tackled order import delays with the integration vendor.
The result
The eBay importer was fully functional by the end of December 2020.
