Truck accessory retailer in Minnesota selling online and in store, part of Mills Aftermarket

  • 6+years working together since 2020
  • 6projects
  • 11platforms & systems
  • 3partners coordinated

Radco's small e-commerce team relies on Magento, Counterpoint and vehicle fitment data. PeakBeyond™ has supported its store since 2020, helped it change development partners, moved it to dedicated servers with automated deployments, rebuilt its parts finder, and led its Magento 2.4.8 upgrade and move to new servers.

I just love that fixes happen so quickly.

The work

  1. May – September 2026

Magento 2.4.8 upgrade on new servers

    The challenge

Radco's Magento version was reaching the end of regular support, and the store needed to move to Magento 2.4.8 and new servers before the holidays, with orders, payments and images all working at cutover and little downtime.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ led the project with the development and hosting partners: upgrade estimate, server proposal and onboarding, testing the Counterpoint file link, product and parts-finder imports and order email on the new server, and a runbook that gave each party — developer, host, Radco and the marketing agency — its own tasks. We then ran the database restore, media sync, DNS, go-live and post-launch checks.

    The result

The site went live on the new servers on September 15, 2026. A live card test showed the order in both Magento and Counterpoint, and images displayed correctly on desktop and mobile.

  2. July – December 2025

    Dedicated hosting and automated deployments

    The challenge

The server was short on memory, and code was deployed with manual commands, which was slow and caused errors and downtime.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ compared cloud and dedicated hosting options and recommended dedicated servers. The host and developer then set up staging and production with an automated deployment pipeline, WebP images, Varnish and a newer database, and the old servers were canceled after cutover.

    The result

Deploying to production became a single click, and Radco's team noted how quickly fixes now happen.

  3. October 2025 – 2026

Moving to a new development partner

    The challenge

Radco needed faster turnaround on development work and a dependable way to deploy code.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ recommended moving to a new development partner, guided Radco through the decision and approvals to engage Helix Solutions, arranged server, admin and code repository access, and runs a weekly check-in with Helix.

    The result

Radco moved to Helix Solutions, which delivered the 2026 upgrade.

  4. February – May 2026

    Parts finder rebuild

    The challenge

The vehicle parts finder needed an extra level of sub-options, held orphaned records, and its file imports sometimes got stuck.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ had a new parts finder with an extra dropdown built and tested on staging, moved uploads to a staging folder processed on a schedule, removed the old parts finder, and made deleting a product also remove its parts-finder records.

    The result

The new parts finder went live in March 2026, and uploads now run every 10 minutes instead of once a day.

  5. 2024 – 2026

    Checkout, SEO and Google Shopping

    The challenge

Checkout needed to be easier to use, inactive categories and filter URLs were producing indexing errors and 404s, and many products weren't showing in Google Shopping.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ configured a one-step checkout with address autocomplete, PayPal Express, card payments and redesigned order emails; removed unused categories with redirects, set low-value pages to noindex and used canonical URLs; and found and fixed firewall rules that were blocking Google's feed and crawler.

    The result

The new checkout went live in June 2025, and Search Console errors fell from more than 90,000 to fewer than 7,000.

  6. 2020 – present

    Store operations and data support

    The challenge

Pricing sync, fitment data, product data and tax need constant care on a parts catalog.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ fixes price mapping from Counterpoint, fitment attributes and the product finder, and manages exports, part merges and marketing pixels. We set up Minnesota's retail delivery fee with Avalara, consolidated UPCs, moved shipping to new software, automated the handling of discontinued and superseded parts, added image optimization and bot rules, had the main menu made keyboard-accessible, and helped Radco choose its marketing partners.
