Mercy Robes sells highly configurable garments online and from its showroom. PeakBeyond™ took over its platform from a previous developer in 2022, rebuilt the storefront on Hyvä with new hosting, added in-store POS and RFID inventory, and is now leading a move to Shopify that fits its new robotic warehouse.

Thanks Derek, this is such a lifesaver for our customer service team.

The work

  1. 2026 – in progress

    Magento to Shopify migration

    The challenge

Planning a Magento upgrade and a custom integration to a new robotic warehouse system showed that staying on Magento would be costly — and the warehouse vendor offered a native Shopify integration.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ paused the upgrade to evaluate Shopify, then scoped the migration with the build partner: a rebuild of the current design with accessibility fixes, the warehouse, shipping, tax and marketing integrations, Shop Pay and Shopify POS. We run project management and QA and handle the data migration of products, customers, orders, gift cards and store credit.

  2. October 2025 – 2026

New warehouse: RFID inventory and automated storage

    The challenge

Mercy Robes was moving to a new warehouse with inaccurate online stock counts and manual picking.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ joined the ERP discovery, rolled out Senitron RFID tagging with scheduled exports so RFID counts update online stock, standardized child product names for the export, and reviewed automated storage and robotics vendors, including their integration scope.

  3. January 2025 – 2026

    In-store POS and international shipping

    The challenge

Showroom sales needed a Magento-based POS with price overrides, customer lookup and split payments, and slow shipping rates at checkout were holding back international orders and Google Shopping.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ rolled out OpenPOS with ZERO-1, set up tax-exempt and reseller pricing and store pickup, integrated GlobalPost for overseas rates, built rate tables from shipping history, added EU shipping policies, fixed feed attributes, and brought in a digital marketing consultant.

  4. 2024 – 2026

Stabilization, customer service tooling and site reliability

    The challenge

The team needed fixes to catalog indexing and custom option SKUs, help-desk and order document improvements, a move from Avalara to TaxCloud with history intact — and, later, a site that stayed fast while aggressive crawlers slowed the admin and POS.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ fixed pricing and index issues, corrected custom option SKUs and trained staff on option templates, joined the help-desk onboarding, managed POS and security updates, and exported and reshaped historical tax data for the TaxCloud import. We then added Cloudflare rules against aggressive crawlers, diagnosed load with the host and restricted admin access.

    The result

In April 2026 the client told us the owner valued the site staying stable all season.

  5. 2023 – October 2024

Hyvä storefront rebuild and hosting move

    The challenge

Mercy Robes wanted a faster, modern storefront and more reliable hosting, while keeping its complex robe configurations, customer data, gift cards and sales rules.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ reviewed and negotiated the Hyvä proposal, then managed the build with ZERO-1: header and navigation redesign, flattened URLs, size charts, bundle layouts, Apple Pay and Google Pay, product data migration, option templates, category sorting and back-order handling. We wrote the go-live runbook — maintenance mode, data migration, reindexing, domain switch, redirects and Cloudflare rules — and coordinated the developer and host through cutover.

    The result

The new Hyvä site went live on October 29, 2024, with everything working after cutover.

  6. 2022

    Taking ownership of the platform

    The challenge

The site was maintained by an outside developer who held the extension licenses and server access.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ took over technical support, had Mercy Robes open its own accounts with each extension vendor and moved the licenses over, then began fixing recurring catalog problems.
