Worked alongside

The work

  1. September 2025

Shopify evaluation and tax integration troubleshooting

    The challenge

SEO and maintenance on Magento raised the question of moving to Shopify, and Counterpoint's real-time tax calls were failing at random with duplicate-transaction errors.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ compared Shopify with Magento for Hurley's — including decimal quantities and gift cards with Counterpoint — prepared a technical write-up for the integration partner's estimate, suggested starting a new collection site on Shopify, and investigated the tax call failures.

  2. February – June 2019

    Magento 2 launch with Counterpoint

    The challenge

A low-volume store needed products, stock and orders in sync with Counterpoint without high monthly costs.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ oversaw the build, chose the shipping, quote and payment extensions, and scoped and tested a basic Counterpoint integration.

    The result

    The store launched in 2019.

  3. December 2019

    Hosting move

    The challenge

The site had to move to dedicated Magento hosting with imports and the integration still running.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ ran the migration and fixed scheduled imports and integration settings after cutover.

  4. 2024 – 2025

    Second storefront and Amazon

    The challenge

Hurley's added a second storefront and Amazon (including FBA), all from one Counterpoint catalog.

    What we did

PeakBeyond™ built a multi-website category tree and store-specific uploads, and mapped marketplace and FBA orders to their own Counterpoint stores.
