Success story
A custom-product brand grows from spreadsheets into a multi-site business
Winston Collection
Winston Collection makes premium personalized golf headcovers and leather accessories; PeakBeyond has guided every step from a manual, accounting-package business to consumer and wholesale stores, a custom product builder and an ERP now being implemented.

- 6+ yearsworking together
- 6major initiatives
- Day 1of the trade show, B2B site live
The Challenge
Custom products, manual processes and no in-house IT
Most of what Winston sells is personalized and takes days to produce. The business ran on an accounting package with manual order entry, subcontracted embroidery and manual inventory adjustments, and had little technical help of its own.
Wholesale customers wanted to design their own covers — choosing leather, personalization zones and logos — which no standard product catalog could express, and standard variants couldn't hold inventory for one-off custom items.
As the brand grew it outgrew its first commerce platform, and a move meant migrating products, customers, order history and gift cards cleanly, with search rankings, tax, email, reviews, accounting sync and shopping feeds all working from the first day.
The Strategy
Grow the foundation in stages, and never miss the show date
PeakBeyond started where the business was: weekly working sessions with the owners, connecting orders to accounting, shipping, tax and a first product customizer, so the fundamentals worked before anything ambitious was attempted.
For wholesale, the deadline set the plan. The B2B site with its custom cover builder had to be live for a trade show, so scope was aligned to that date and the final task list was driven over the weekend before the doors opened.
With two storefronts running, we judged that the constraint had moved to the back office, and guided the selection of one ERP across the businesses — with the wholesale site rebuilt on it.
The Solution
Foundation, wholesale, replatform, then one back office
Each stage was a project of its own, with the partners chosen for that stage and PeakBeyond running it.
PeakBeyond worked with Winston Collection's internal team and specialized technology partners to:
- Built the commerce foundation: order sync to accounting, shipping, sales tax, a product customizer and the store theme with the development partner
- Delivered a B2B wholesale site with a custom headcover builder — leather choices, personalization zones and logos — aligned to the trade-show date
- Ran the consumer replatform end to end: technology discovery, collections and a full redirect map, a UAT plan, launch integrations for tax, email, reviews, tracking, accounting, shopping feeds and analytics, and the cutover itself
- Set up automated returns, corrected the accounting mapping, added bulk sale pricing and designed a wholesale ordering site with registration, approvals, charge-on-account and tax
- Added custom personalized products with embroidery font matching and fee lines, then evaluated a 3D customizer able to feed both the storefront and the ERP
- Guides the ERP implementation: partner selection, gap-analysis and on-site manufacturing workshops, data clean-up scripts, connector testing, permissions, user testing and training
The Results
Two storefronts, a custom builder and a single back office on the way
The B2B site went live on 22 January 2024 — the first day of the trade show — with the custom cover builder working.
The consumer store launched in April 2025 with all product data migrated. The day after launch the client reported orders and fulfillment running smoothly, and the old platform was shut down the following month.
The ERP implementation is now in Phase 1 with weekly alignment sessions, and the wholesale site is being rebuilt on it, which will end the manual order entry the business started with.
A business that once typed orders by hand now runs consumer and wholesale storefronts, custom product design and, soon, one system behind them all.
