Success story
A distributor's warehouse, ordering app and trading partners all speak to one system
Texas Wholesale
Texas Wholesale runs its business on one back-office system and added a warehouse management system; PeakBeyond designed the integration between them and connected electronic trading, B2B ordering and delivery routing around it.

The Challenge
New systems arriving faster than they could be connected
Texas Wholesale distributes from several locations around Dallas–Fort Worth, running on one back-office system with each city set up as its own company.
The business added a warehouse management system, a B2B ordering app, a new electronic trading provider and delivery routing software in quick succession. Each solved a problem and created another: receivings, counts and transfers posted by hand, orders that needed the right profit center and credit rules, delivery addresses typed twice.
Underneath it all, the team needed to trust the transaction data itself, and to replenish stock by location rather than in aggregate.
The Strategy
Make the back office the single record, and integrate to it
PeakBeyond's position was that the back-office system should stay the source of truth — for inventory, pricing, credit and addresses — and every new system should integrate to it rather than hold its own version.
That meant moving wholesale pricing into proper back-office price rules instead of overrides, exposing credits and balances through controlled views, and recommending the back office as the one place delivery addresses live.
We also documented every system and integration in a data-flow diagram, so the business could see its own architecture before adding to it, and built automated duplicate checks so data problems surface on their own.
The Solution
One integration at a time, each tested in production
PeakBeyond designs the integrations and acts as technical liaison to each vendor.
PeakBeyond worked with Texas Wholesale's internal team and specialized technology partners to:
- Designed the warehouse integration — receivings, counts and store-to-store transfers, with transfer-in created automatically and one-step batch posting
- Connected the B2B ordering app: correct profit center, wholesale pricing moved to back-office price rules, minimum-order and credit-limit handling, and nightly receivables uploads
- Served as technical liaison for the electronic trading replacement — endpoints, authentication, firewall access, agent monitoring and discrepancy investigation as partners moved over
- Automated delivery routing from back-office data, with next-day and second-day defaults and one source of addresses
- Documented every system and integration in a data-flow diagram and built automated duplicate checks
- Built location-level min/max replenishment with safety stock, and scoped a backorder workflow across the back office and warehouse
The Results
Manual steps removed, and proven in production
The new transfer process went live in production in June 2026, replacing manual posting between the warehouse system and the back office.
A production test in March 2026 confirmed the delivery routing upload worked and was fast, so addresses are no longer typed twice.
The duplicate check now runs automatically, and location-level replenishment went to production in August 2026 — so each location restocks on its own numbers rather than a company-wide average.
Four new systems in three years, and the business still has one set of numbers.
…I really appreciate you and all that you do for us.
